This module invites you to broaden your understanding of sexuality by exploring the Circles of Sexuality framework. You'll also dive into your own belief systems, gaining clarity around personal biases and shaping a foundation for healthy, open-minded dialogue.
3. Anatomy & Gender
Here, you’ll learn about the anatomy of reproductive organs—both male and female—as well as important concepts related to gender identity. This foundational knowledge gives you the terms and understanding needed to clearly talk about bodies with your children.
4. Sex‑Positive Parenting
In this session, you’ll compare sex-positive and sex-negative parenting styles and explore four defined approaches to parenting. Spotlighting “authoritative” parenting as the scientifically supported model, you'll discover how it promotes healthy emotional and sexual development in children.
5. Consent & Communication
This module delves into powerful tools such as Dr. Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent and Dr. Harry Faddis’s Three-Minute Game. You’ll also explore the three core expressions of sexuality, learning practical frameworks for guiding respectful and clear conversations with your child.
6. Sexual Values
You’ll examine your personal sexual values—unpacking how childhood messages and current beliefs shape your parenting. This essential module encourages you to clarify the principles you wish to pass on, ensuring that your conversations are grounded in authenticity and support.
7. Resources & Recap
In the concluding session, you’ll review the key insights from the course and receive a curated list of resources to continue your learning. This wrap-up reinforces your confidence creating ongoing, open, and positive discussions about sex, identity, and relationships with your children.
